Catfish in the LA river by the 605 ??

Went fishing a couple weeks ago and i know that there is carp in that river because i caught a couple already but i met some guy overthere and he said he caught catfish in there before which was kind of weird?? maybe ill fish for some next time :)

ive live in south el monte my whole life and i live two blocks away frm the river and i use to fish for carp for fun but i havent been there in a while but once in a while i would pull out a catfish...ure best bet it to fish between thienes and the 60frw

yeah thats exactly where i fish at.. i never thought that there was catfish in there lol thats good to know when i go there next time ill try to catch one :)..i also caught a couple nice carp there u can see them jumping early in the a.m
