Was thinking of heading up to the Sierra's again in late October. I will be taking up my 22' travel trailer. I noticed that many campgrounds seem to be already closed by late October. Does anyone know of places that are open to camp at?

Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I know Mammoth Lakes locations close early. Check out the various locations in Bishop Canyon. Don't know about June lake. Also check Brown's campground on the upper owens.

FWIW.... I believe Virginia Lakes may still be open in late October, however don't know for sure. Twin Lakes Bridgeport campgrounds are open til Oct 31, I verified it last week. I'm going up in 2 wks.

Fall fishing at it's finest when most campgrounds are closed.:Rolls Eyes:

Pine Cliff Resort at June Lake http://pinecliffresort.net/index.html

I'm sure most of the loop open through October.

Looks like only Creekside RV Park is open in the Bishop Creek area late October. In case anyone else is looking for late October places here are some places I have found so far:

June Lake
Twin Lakes - Mammoth
Crags - Bridgeport
McGee Creek - Crowley
Creekside RV Park- Bishop Creek
