I went back to my sweet spot that's been smelling like polecat and known as the "Rod Busting" hole. I actually had a decent secession this AM. Feet were wet at 6:07 AM and was drying them off by 10:30 AM..

When I arrived it was still dark thirty. I looked up the surf and I saw GETBIT's silhouette up in the distance. GETBIT definitely derserves the worm for being the early bird!! lol. :UDaMan:
I walked down and fished the first 30 minutes wearing a head lamp and he was not wearing one. in the dark.
He said it was really hard to see and work on his line in the dark. lol. :Cool:

The conditions this AM were some of the best that I've encountered. :LOL:

Surf..............1-2' swell ........1' wind.....5-10 mph NW
Tide..............Hi LT 6:00 AM= 2.0', 7:00 AM= 2.3', 8:00 AM= 2.8', 9:00 AM= 3.5' and 10:00 AM=4.2'.
Water clarity was excellent today, a few sandy / brown spots, very little salad, moderate bait fish present, I saw one flying Halibut and a few diving Pelicans.
Assault Tactics= LC 110 American Shad
Fish Count= (1) 15"+ Hali and (!) 18"+ Hali.

8:15 AM caught both in the same trench!

All captured enemy were photographed, measures were taken, water board interrogated for INTEL and then released!
