I wanted to unload this equipment at a more than fair price to people that would enjoy it...

That in itself delivers far more satisfaction for me.

I didn't anticipate, however, people trying to take advantage of the situation. I was under the assumption that there are more people here trying to share and help each other out. Unfortunately that wasn't the case.

Some people may think, "it doesn't hurt to ask," but come on people, have some etiquette and manners!
