First Eldo Bass

My family wanted to do some bike riding today so we went to Eldorado (so I could fish) and they could bike ride. I was just messing around but noticed the bass were boiling on the dragonflies hitting the surface. All I had were some Power Nimphes so I tied one on and threw out for awhile, when this beauty hit my line. It was pretty fun on 4lb test with my trout rod. I dont fish there much but i'll go back for sure...

I caught my first bass at that same spot in 1998. There used to be much less reeds/toolies on that particular bank. Nice catch.

nice fish the bass are hard to get at eldo i was there sat and got skunked i didnt even see any fish boil and im trying to find something that looks like a dragon fly if one can come up with that it should be wide open on bass at eldo

Nice fish, but you were in my spot.. haha. I like that side of the lake. Caught a little 2 lb'er yesterday,,, missed one today. Be there tomorrow..

WHat lake did you fish? Lake one has some decent fish. Lake two has NOTHING!! LOL
3 and 4 have monsters!
