NPH Quickie Report 9/10

Went out with my lil nephew around noon with our ultralight trout gear. Mostly fished Big Hammers, and the fish wanted to celebrate Halloween early this year. Spent a total of 1.5 hours out there and called it a day after hookin up to 2 spotties and 2 lizards between the both of us. Both spotties (new species for me) taped out to ~15", and everything was released. Everythings funner on light gear. :Wink: All in all, a successful day in training the future fishing generation.

Nice catchin bro...those spotty sure fight like champs...and I could only imagin on light tackle...good to see you took the nephew out..def got a new fishin buddy :)

Spotties are FUN on light tackle. Did you use 4 lb test?
