samo 9/10/11 croakers with salad

I got to samo around 5:40am got gear up and hit the surf and found piles of beached kelp everywhere as well as strings of vegetation washing in with the surf. I made a few casts but wasn't able to deal with the seaweed so I walked down the beach until I found some opening. I got into some dink bsp on camo crack but didn't feel satisfied so I switch to morf grub scented with pro cure hoping to hook something better or different. I started getting bites right away and a few casts later caught the first yfc of the morning. I took a pic, released it and made another cast and hooked into another one right away, a bit larger then the first one. After that the bite stopped, so I switched back to the crack and hooked a couple of more dink bsp and that was it for the morning. couple of pics of the yfc.
