I was able to hit F*mount this morning before sun up. I'm glad I did! While pitching around the treelines I hooked up to this bad guy. I tempted him with a jewl baits black jig with a yum baits 4" crawdad brown/blue flake as a trailer.

Thanks for the read!

That's incredible. :EyePop: WTG. I've never heard of catching pike in any of our local lakes.

Hey, we already know that Fairmount Park has special, warm-water Walleyes. Why not special, warm-water Northern Pike? I am guessing that they are probably also in Balboa Lake, too, at least if you are one of those people who can't tell a Salmon from a Tilapia.

p.s. While I was in Taiwan, I actually read a nice, well-written account by an American botanist living in Taiwan, in which he mistook the Tilapia in a nearby stream for Salmon, and bemoaned the plight of the "native Fomosan Salmon" (which really do exist but are endangered and off limits for fishing) which were being netted by locals, and wiped out by a channelization project, only to find out from his Taiwanese wife that they were Tilapia.

Unless I see a photo of you holding the Pike with a fairmount landmark in the backdrop - I too call BS. It was funny the first couple of times, but come on man (in my Chris Carter voice.) It seems like no one posts actually fish reports or usual information anymore on these boards. Save for a few posters on the DVL threads.
