despite the scattered showers and thunderstorms today, i couldn't help but get out of the house and fish the duct for a few hours. decided to try the sierra hwy spot...never fished it before, but have always been curious since i've never seen anybody up there. its a bit of a walk up the hill so i figure most people are just too lazy to get up there, lol. it's quite an interesting spot...i've never been to an area of the duct where the sides have such a gradual slope, most are a lot steeper. i was also suprised at the water clarity...haven't seen the water so clear as up there. all the conditions looked good, overcast, was pretty calm, sun going down. they wanted no part of my 3/4 oz diamond dust rat l trap :Embarrassed: oh well...was still really nice conditions to be out there and enjoy the weather...

Hi Zipperwurm, thanks for your report. You take some nice pictures, cool. We have fished up around Little Rock with no love. The water up there is clear and good looking. You will get those fish at some point in time.
Myself and M@M will be out Monday 9/5 at 4 AM looking for a dd in the duct down here, we will be happy to get bit!
Will post our outting results when we get back.

More cut holes are present in that fencing than a slice of swiss has.

I really do not understand why people need to cut the fence to get to the duct. There are so many open places to get to it. Just makes me wonder how destructive people are.

Simple! they are stupid. I just hope this fence cutting don't get the duct closed to us. With miles of open area there is no need to damage the duct security equipment. M@M and I fished part of the Hesperia duct last Monday and when we left we removed theash, diapers and other crap and took it to my house and it left this morning in my trash can. I am sure we can all talk for days on this subject. Done for today
