Good morning @ Peck Park Lake 9.4.11

Decided to fish Peck this morning since I just got some new jigs last night. Got there around 7am and wasn't getting any bites on the jig, xr-4 or my worms. Changed back to the XR-4 again around 8am and moved to a spot on the back of the lake where I got two small bass yesterday.

A few casts in and landed this guy:

Landed two more tiny bass by the shore. Around 8:30 I saw a lot of action on the shore a few feet to the right, tossed by lure in and landed this fish right away. Is this a crappie or redear?

Left around 9. Good way to start the day. Catching bigger and bigger bass, hopefully I can land a monster soon :Fishing Catch:

That looks like a bluegill or sunfish. I've never seen a redear or crappie come out of Peck.

I agree with ScottyP,good job though,I've fished that lake a few times,caught a few bass once but have really not done to well there.

Neat! Those LMBs are pretty darn aggressive right now; and that's a healthy female Bluegill.
