Headed up to my fav spot and to my surprise NO WATER so i headed down stream and found some flow and fish. Many surface hits but no hook ups. Finally got 1 to stay on the hook.

SORRY FOR PIC QUALITY "CELL CAM". Headed more down stream and got to see some nice GULPERS in slow moving water. Casted few drys over them but no takers. Did some nymph action but no chasers.

headed down to the 13 pools ... barely running and not really pools anymore. Saw one riser after dry fly presented but no hook up.

Now that's some great fishing there, Chuck.

Wow that water level looks extremely low also. Almost barely fishable?

Locals have a real challenge to stay fishable with low flows, high water temps and increased fishing pressure that really puts stress on the fish. Folks I fish with just quit fishing locals when temps go 65 or above. Plenty of fish in other areas that have none of those issues until fall when cool air brings water back down to safe temps.

Very nice not see any traces of trash and tagging. But god bless you with your conscious mind not the harm these trouts by using that plastic clear box for photos. Good man!

There's almost no water there. Good fishing! I was hoping for a picture of the tenkara in action.
