Kind of a late post, but last Thursday was my first time bass fishing at Legg Lake, spent a few hours trying. I can see the monsters jumping, so I tried a few different things. Finally after a few hours, caught my first LMB! 3lbs

I haven't seen any, I guess all the real anglers that have love for the sport chased em out! Plus I know DFG shows up randomly.

A couple of weeks ago I got checked by a deputy on horseback. That was different.

Nice fish.. I checked google earth, which lake do most fish there? And, what did you catch him on? I might hit that place when the kids go back to school.

Most anglers will target the north and Center lakes. As for tackle well I'll let you figure that out because it's not hard to figure out the bite. I'll just say this much observe the water.

Im usually there in the mourn or in the evening right before dusk.

Beginner's Luck? I doubt landing anything that size is luck, plus, who said I was a beginner? BTW, here's another pic of a different bass I caught using bass fishing techniques...

Nice job man. I just got skunked at legg today. Water quality was poor. Moved to peck and c & r two little bass.

Awesome! I've yet to catch anything at Peck. I haven't really tried that good, just went real quick a couple of times.

How is the bite ? any LMB or CRAPPIE left on the lakes ?
