New to fishing So Cal

I grew up in the northwest and fished around Washington Or. and Idaho for 35 years but I havnt done any fishing here I have a 17 ft boat and a 75 hp outboard and am going to try my luck on the HB flats this weekend. My question is where is the closest place to get live bait, I'll be putting in at HB. any and all sugestion would be welcom.
