Brought out 2 buddies, one new to DVL. Excited to try some shad baits early, then go to the senko and dropshot. 6:15 in the marina.....motor dies. Luckily a warden, then Sean, a mechanic for the rental boats, gave me a tow back in. Sean worked on my motor for almost an hour and a half! He found a fuel leak near the filter, took it apart, and fixed it! I had $30 in my wallet, so I gave it to him. THANKS SEAN!!! So then I made a mistake. I still tried the shad bite, even though it was dead, wasted an hour and a half. Then went to the senko and dropshot bite. We got about 10 fish the next hour, then shut it down for lunch. So good and bad. Sean saved me some money, but we wasted a bunch of fishing time. Oh well, it will get better! Be back there soon.
