Got on our yearly charter with some family and friends on the Aztec and left Seaforth on Friday night, had a couple beers and some laughs then hit the sack. In the morning we didn't get in the zone (130 miles) until around just after 10 AM, started the first troll rotation and it wasn't even 10 minutes in when zzzzzZZZZ, zzzzzZZZZ, zzzzzZZZZ, zzzzzZZZZ ALL 4 jigs went off. HOOKUP!!!! For the next hour and half chaos ensued. When all was said and done there were over 150 YFT on deck. Here is a pic of half the deck from the first day

The rest of the day we probably hit another 40 or so on multiple jig stops, but nothing like the first stop. Not even close.
The next day was picking like the rest, 5-10 on each stop. I did manage to find this guy that wanted iron for breakfast. Gotta love those bites, he was grumpy too.

Anyways fishing was good, crew was great (AS ALWAYS), food was excellent, Capt. Mikey fishes HARD! I didn't win the jackpot, but I flipped the crew a healthy tip (amount not disclosed but more than most people this is fair, trust me no deck hands are getting rich) not because of limits, but because I tip the same even when I catch the skunk.
