Took the family to Maui last week for a holiday. My son and I booked a trip with Start Me Up Sportfishing. We left Lahaina harbour at 2:30 AM and motored out about 2.5 hours. The captain was slow trolling some mackerel and his first cast the drag starts sceaming. My son was number one of the five of us on the boat. He brought in a nice Mahi mahi to start out the day. By 6:15 AM we had 8 Mahi's in the boat. At one point we had triples on. We went to another spot and caught a few more. They said it was a calm day, but those were some rough seas for me. We got back to the harbour at 11:30 with a total of 16 Mahi mahi. Great trip with a great crew and a cool group of guys. 3241932420324213242232423324243242532426
