Jenks Lake 8/15

Headed up to Jenks lake this morning and got there about 8:30. Fished from the pier. Caught 5 stocker trout on powerbait and salmon eggs (kept those) and another 3 on a daredevil spoon (released). Done by 11:30. Don't know what the aquatic plants are but they are pretty bad around most of the lake. If you don't fish the pier plan on casting out at least 20 or 30 feet just to clear them.

good job out there. the last time i was at jenks you had to cast out pretty far to get away from all the weeds as well. thanks for the report
