Well we got to the lake around 2pm cuz my uncle had to work and we headed to our spot. The catfish were jumping everywhere around us and the bite was on. As soon as it got dark the bite shut off along with the bullshit raves again. So we put our lights out and managed to get some crappie before we called it a night. Overall it was a good day of fishing. See ya on the water.3234732348323493235032351

Good job guys. I want to put my lights out too, but hard to make the decision whether to put them out or target catfish. Was the crappie bite consistent with the full moon out?

The crappie bite was ok but it should be picking up soon. We usually catch cats with the lights out too.

It looked like "Close in Encounters of the 3rd Kind" over there from the other side of the lake.
I've ALWAYS caught catfish with a light out also. About 2 months ago, I had a 10 pound kitty swim right up to my light by shore nite fishing at SARL.

you need to get a deeper frying pan and put more oil in it and a tempature stick. half corn meal and half flour and seasoning. much better. not as greasy
