Cooled off in the BU (8/14 am)

well, given the hot action yesterday, wanted to try to get AC on some fish too. The BU Crew was headed out this am, joined by Mike. I think I counted 12 fishermen on the sand when we get there a little after 8am.. probably cause of the hot action/reports from the past couple days :EyePop: Nice, cool, overcast conditions with hardly any wind or salad, but bigger waves/shore pound today.

We start at the usual spot tossing some red crack... and within 5 min or so... land a decent YFC! That's Mike way in the background doing his fly fishing thing!~

things definitely slowed WAY down from yesterday... not much action this morning. We make our way all the way down to where Robert/Bobbie/Steve/Mike are... and they found a decent spot where they were picking off some average grade BSPs... I tried to see if AC could land a few there, but no takers... and didn't wanna crowd there spot anymore than it already was.

so we start to work our way back and AC finally lands a small walleye to get the skunk off :LOL:

I fish the spot a few minutes more then land this 15" YFC! woo hoo! nice drag-peeling fight...

Headed out after that cause the lady couldn't stay too long this am.. and wasn't able to say goodbye to the BU crew who were still working at the end of the beach... perhaps the bite/fish picked up there later...

we left around 10am, and decided to hit the crab depot for 5-10 minutes to see if there was any better action there... and glad we did, as AC got to land a decent BSP to end the day:

Thx again for the nice comments Robert! yeah she's the Mrs.. hehehe. The action definitely slowed way down on sunday... was hoping she could land a decent YFC, but it wasn't to be... was great to be out!
