Went to Berth 55 on Friday night. Saw ghettodad behind the counter. When he saw my 10 pound freshwater set up along with my scooby doo rod, he told me that wasn't going to cut it b'cuz the current has been picking up so he let me borrow a kencore rental. ghettodad didn't look much like his avatar... he actually looks like a youngster... maybe 32 or 33.
About 35 guys on the boat, frozen squid and some 2 to 3 inch anchovies for bait. The chovies were the ticket. Made 3 stops, all producing nice sized grumpys. I caught 4. two to four pounds. Gave them away to a nice family that wasn't fortunate enough to catch any. They were on the other side of the boat so I didn't notice that they were using a 3 oz. slider down to the 3/0 hook. Figures why they didn't catch anything.
Ghettodad was right. The current was so bad 6-8 oz torpedo's that were needed would have bent my rods in half. Thanks GD~! Berth 55 was the best fishing experience I've had all weekend.
Sup Kev, you play hoops? I see you wearing the N.C. sweat shirt time to time. Come up to L.A. on a Saturday afternoon. We'll run some games. Oh and great job on the sandies. By the way, i cant make it on a full day boat on your upcoming fishing trip. I migh be going on a half day, southern cal. Have to get ready for a trade show the following week.

it's seems as though the "sending failure - debug mode" thing happens alot these days but actually the send goes through. That's why it seems like people post like 6 or 7 times but the message actually gets sent 6 or 7 times.
