Headed up to do some testing on the new Pro Staff line of Drews Customs. Anchored up on the Buoy line and threw out the worms via dropshot and it was WFO. Black with red flake/chartreuse and pearl white/ chartreuse pro staff line worms were the hot ticket. Fished from 830-1130 and caught about 25 apiece. Saw a couPle big fish caught. Props to Shaun from Smokin Jigz he landed a 6.8 on a yellow jig. Lots of crappie came out to play as well. Jess Ranch showed ip around noon and threw in a good looking stock of quality fish. This lake has finally got to it's potential and the next few weeks should be real good.

Thanks or the report TD, glad to see it heatin up at GVL, the fish were in the shallow part of the lake which is a good sign that there are alot of fish in there. Way to slay on Drews!!

It had to heat up at some point, there is a TON of fish in there :Secret:. Looks like it will get good just as the summer fishing season is coming to an end :Rolls Eyes:.
