"L I V E" Guide Auction Starts Now

THE STRIPER KING CLASSIC "LIVE" GUIDE SERVICE AUCTION starts on this thread and will continue at the tournament. Here are the rules:

1. Each Guide is donating a 1/2 day guide service.
2. 100% of these proceeds go to Valley-Wide Recreation & Parks and the Police Activities League of Hemet/San Jacinto.
3. Bidding starts at only $50.00 and each bid must be at least $10.00 or more.
4. Example: Simply reply to thread, post Guide name and your bid.
5. Guides normal fee for a 1/2 day guide service ranges between $250.00-$350.00

The "Live" Guide Auction will transition from FNN to the actual "Live" portion of our event at Diamond Valley Lake. On Thursday, August 25th, we'll close the FNN bidding. On Saturday, August 27th, we'll continue the bidding "Live" until we get a winner.

Anyone on FNN can PM me their "highest bid" that they are willing to go. That way, if someone "Live" bids lower, the FNN bidder will win. For example: FNN member PM's me that their highest bid for Guide XXX is $350.00. At the event, the highest bid for Guide XXX is $325.00. The winner would be the FNN bidder.

I think you should have the highest bid posted from the parties that PM's you between Aug 25 to Aug 27. That way at the event the people interested in the "guide" auction will know what they are looking at to bid without any surprises.

There's going to be the transition from FNN to the "Live" Guide Auction on Saturday. Here's the way it will happen:

1. Friday evening at 6:00pm will be the last FNN bidding.
2. Highest bids for each guide will be carried over to Saturday.
3. Saturday at 2:30pm will start the actual "Live" Guide Auction.
4. Highest bids for each guide will be winners.

Everyone's done a fantastic job raising money for Valley-Wide Rec & Parks and the Police Activities League, both of Hemet/San Jacinto. We'll look forward to seeing everybody Saturday. Best of luck to all!

Mr Hill's 'inside' knowledge of the contour of DVL is worth its money in gold. It doesn't surprise me to see that rising bid next to Art's name.

Whoever does have the pleasure of fishing DVL with him better take a notebook, a map of the lake, and a lot of writing utensils because class will be in session. I've had the pleasure of fishing Vail and DVL and not only is his boat roomy and immaculate, he's a very knowledgeable and stand up guy.

Getting guided by Art is a very wise investment, especially at a pressured lake like DVL. Good luck to those who are bidding.
