That South swell that came through Sat, Sun real did a job on tearing up some kelp.
Sunday some of the huge kelp paddies came through Queens Gate off Pier J in Long Beach.
100' x 50' sections the type offshore fishermen dream about.
So, depending on current flow, wind ect there should be some nice kelps out there in the Yellowtail, Tuna zones this week that came off the Channel Islands drifting off San Diego/Mexico.
Worth checking out. You want to have bait and pass the breakwall before sunrise so that you are not eating dust from other boaters that already hit the am paddies.
