First time for me and my son, saltwater !

Hey guys I'm gonna take my son out on an overnite trip aboard the thunderbird probably this sun. The 13th, any info regarding anything ! What kind of setup should I use general of course maybe a multi purpose set up ? This will be my first time out as well as his, I really hope they can put us on some good fishing...any info regarding this type of trip is appreciated.

If you are not use to a boat moving start with dramamine or some sort of motion sicknesss device.But ask at the landing be fore leaving i dont know where there fishing but most likely catalinia or san clemente 1/2 oz slideing sinkers 2 to 5 oz dropper loop rig gets most done but dont be afraid to ask the deck hands thats there job.oh some size 6 ,4 and 3/0 hooks

What hometown said is right on, make sure you take the dramamine an hour BEFORE the trip, not when you are boarding.
Also bring some smaller sliding egg sinkers, 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 oz so you dont burden those baitfish :)
