A third consecutive day of fishing! It's definitely been a fun few days and ones that I'll remember for a long time.

In terms of fishing, well, it could have gone better, but it was a slow day in my books. Anywho, 5 people fishing managed to rake in 50 something Gills and Redears and a few dink bass.

This big gal was at least a 8lbr. It was just chilling under a pontoon that the lake staff were chilling on.

One of several dink bass

As always my little cousin manages to catch the biggest panfish for the day. Half the time he's griping about the sun and the other half he's just messing around. lol I need to stop fishing with him. It's just depressing to get outfished by a 9 year-old.

Why does my cousin always get the larger models to bite? We have the same rig, we fish the exact same spot, hell I'm using 2lb and he's using 6lb? WTF!

Lol, take solace in the knowledge that YOU probably taught that youngster and therefore it was an extension of YOURSELF that caught those fish! Lol...Don't be too depressed about it, my sons both out fished me on our annual trip to the Sierras in June. Taught them well didn't we...

In spite of being slow, it sounds like all had a great time, kudos...

agree nothing better than out fishing your elders, or watching your youngers out fish you.

If you say so. That little guy gives me a hard time about me catching dinks.
