Jackson Lake 1st timewith the boys

Looking at the dfg plant page seeing that they will be planting a lake we have not tried before. Well some friends came down fron Vegas with there 2 twin boys 10 yrs old. Road dirt bikes the first 2 days then we went to Jackson Lake off hwy2. Nice lake people once again have no respect for our state rec areas.:Sad: Wish had more law officers to ticket the 1% of the dirt bag people. Trash, catch fish and leave them behind.Sorry fishing report. Got there around 11 tried what someone said was working from the bottom of there bag no luck thanks for the info right.:Secret: Moved down from the swim area and used the norm rainbow pb garlic. fish on. all boys caught 4 to 5 fish each then we cut the barb so they could learn the skill of keeping the fish on. Some dismay but soon each brought some 5 to 6 fish each in. kept 10 for tacos that night and pickup 3 more that someone threw on shore nice lake did some clean up around our area and on the way out.

Always good when the kids catch fish! And yes more people=more trash! I do not understand why if you pack-it-in/you can't pack-it-out! Idiots! Thanks for the report.

Jackson Lake has become another of those places where the ground is the place throw your lunch...powerbait jars...worn boxes...used diapers...used adult diapers because the maid will be coming around to clean it up for them. With continuing budget cuts on the Angeles National Forest recreation budget (this year's rec budget was about the same as the one in 1985) and with the increased pressure from the masses in the LA megalopolis, things will continue to deteriorate. Living here since 1970....there have been lots of negative changes. We stay away until school starts and then only go on week days.
