Anyone getting any trout this week?

Trolled for 2 hours on wednesday for no trout..Got 1 bass on the troll mid lake. Fished needle fish and rapala's. Tried 20 to 30' on the rigger and 3 to 7 colors on the leadcore..

I'm sorta not buying this "topwater troll bite" they're claiming, maybe first thing in the morning but that's way too hot by mid-day for them to be anywhere near high 70's surface temps. We'll see how it goes tomorrow I guess, it was nice and cool today until about 9:30

I JUST GOT BACK FROM BISHOP SOUTH LAKE IS ON FIRE WITH VERY BIG ALPERS FISH,,,,,,,,,I FISHED THE AFTERNOON FOR ABOUT FOUR HOURS AND LAST COUNT ON HOW MANY I CAUGHT AND ON SO MANY DIFFERENT THINGS IT WAS VERY COOL,,,,,,,,,,,,,THE WEATHER ALSO...................t/o.,,,,,,,,

I saw some breaking fish in the morning here and there but they were not trout they were huge Carp.. Lots of bait down around 25', I would guess that some trout could be had..Just not by me that day..Fishing was slow for me, fish bass,trout and cats for just a few bass...left at 2..one good thing was that there was only 4 private boats and maybe 4 or 6 rentals..Didnt see any other boats where I was till 8 or 9..I was the first boat to launch also which was a first for me..only 3 people in line and 1 was me at 0600..

Thanks Bob, I was wishing for some South Lake action this week but it was not to be. I gotta settle for local. When is DVL going to go off for ol stripey???
