LP Thurs session....black bass!

Steve and i went out for the Thurs afternoon session. Water was 83*, temp was hot and wind was kicking our buts but I got a second anchor and boy did it help. Nothing big this time. Fished the 2 to 5 foot range for awhile but they just were not biting so we hit tire reef and caught a few. The fish in 15 to 20 foot range were almost black!!! We landed 8 fish her are some of the decent ones.....it was Dinkfest 2011!!

hahahahahaha....I get spoiled when I have 4 good trips in a row with landing big fish.

Nice going guys! Hey why do you think their official name is Largemouth Black Bass? You should see the spawning bass from super clear water. They are really black.
Does Steve know that when it's hot like it is now that the color black absorbs heat, while white and light colors reflect it? I know that's his trademark but he would be so much more comfortable fishing out there in that hot sun with a light colored shirt.. (why should I care anyway?..)

Hahahaha.... I can't break that guy of wearing anything but black shirts....if its hot then I'm in a white tee. He actually wears a black shirt under his other black shirt....lol.

steve is like the grim reaper for bass. Just needs a black cloak to finish his all black ensemble. Great job on the lmb as usual.
