Got on the water at 6:40am. Started spotting fish right away. Tied on a sand crab pattern and started the days work. Fish were super spooky, long leaders are a must!!

Awsome Corbina on the Fly! Way to fool them!!!!!!!

I can totally see an egg laden Sand Crab in that pattern!

Thanks for the report and look forward to more of them!

Thanks for the subtle hint. I know, I misspelled Corbina. My bad fellas. I did this post on my phone and the v is so close to the b, and even closer after a few coldies.

Nice work on the fly. I picked up some fly's a couple weeks ago for halibut but haven't had the chance to try them yet. Looking forward to it even more after your report.
Thanks

Outstanding job. Not an easy fish to catch especially with artificials. Keep the photos coming.

Awesome. I need to try this.
What size rod do you use? I just picked up an 8wt for my alaska trip. Figured it might work for corbina when I get back. Otherwise I have a 5wt.
Where would one find sand crab flies?

Very nice beans Bro.
I saw schools of 3-8 the other day and they wanted nothing to do with an LC.
Thanks for the report,
Robert

Awesome job. I really like that fly, is that your own sandcrab fly?

Alot of flies I see have much brighter reds and oranges.. That dark red really screams "Ripe"!
