Kern 8/4

Its great to be back home! Last week I was in the Sierras and I was missing my river, the Kern!
I went up with the little brother, and we were there for a few hours. We managed to catch 8 between the both of us. All but one were average stocker, but the one was a beauty!

Truly a great angler for C&R on such a beauty. I would have serve that puppy up a frying pan within 20 minutes.

Don't get me wrong, I love the sierras! But when the river (Kern) is in your backyard, there is a different respect for it.

How was the flow? I assume not too bad considering your results.....taking my daughter next weekend, hope to have similar results! Any suggestions? Thanks for posting up and congrats on that beauty!

Great lookin fish! I was up there about a month ago and fishing was pretty difficult. Great job and thanks for the report
