well... had the itch to fish, so headed to the crab depot in the BU and got there around 11:30am... still just micro SCs around... dug around for 5 minutes and managed a few nice sized SCs.
conditions there were pretty good... pretty clear water, but enough salad around to make you pick your spots... slight cooling breeze, and small-medium waves:

I start casting a large sandcrab and make my way over to the rocky jetty... and stay there for 10 minutes when I get slammed... bendo... and after a few, great drag-zipping runs... managed to land my PB YFC thus far... a nice 14 1/2" YFC! woo hoo for me! looks closer to 14 3/4" though :LOL:

here's me with the awkward release... was trying to run some water through its gills then release when the water got deeper, but it got off my grip and swam off...

and for the first time in 2 years... I actually spotted a couple corbinas "cruising the skinny" :lol: I had never been able to spot them... but I guess with the clear water today... finally got to see them... tossed my sandcrabs in the general area, but didn't manage to hook up.
switched over to crack and managed 11 of these guys... nothing over 9" I would say:

all in all... a great, sunny day in the BU... had the beach to myself for most of the early afternoon...
