Hit up Issabella a couple of days. Was a good trip. Little wind. YES. Got to French Gulch Marina and drove all the way to the last cove near the rocks towards the dam. Camped, fished, drank beers/whiskey. Thought we do better, but not complaining, ended up with total of 20 cats. Biggest one was a 4lber channel (3 channels, 4 if didn't lose that one, rest of bullheads). Lost it out of the fish basket (no idea). Then mid-day, had my surf pole almost drag into the water by something BIG. Lost it trying to bringing it in. We used mainly shrimp and crawlers/M&M on C rig and Dropper Loop. Hit up the river and was flowing pretty good. Careful there, another victim last week.
