Gregory Dinkfest

I decided to go up the hill to Gregory this morning since I havent been there this season yet. Arrived @ 7:00 AM and went to the wall by the swim beach.This is where ive caught many bullhead catfish in the past.Instead it was all weed chocked. No where to cast out to the bottom. Plan 2, I attached a bobber and crawler pieces and ..caught half a dozen bluegills from the size of my thumb to 5 in.No crappies even.I decided to save the rest of the crawlers for another trip.Hopefully these fish will be big enough to catch next season.

U shud of made the extra drive up to big bear lake trout are still showing in the shallows & the bass are everywhere too. Sorry bout the dinks but a dink is better than the skunky stink.

I haven't been up there since May. The fishing was good then, but then there weren't any weeds to mess with. When it comes to fishing, having a plan 2 or 3 will turn a skunk into a bent pole, way to adapt there castle.
