Last Wed after 8 hours of trolling the 302, 230, San Salvador Knoll, and the East Butterfly nothing but chatter on the radio about 'where's the fish and reports of no tuna, nothing on the troll'.

Then about 2 ish they stated to show, mixed reports of Terns and breaking fish coming in. The bait they were chasing was small about 2" we saw some bait jumping also.
The problem was the 8" Horse Dines everybody had were too big.

Then a report came in that 2 BFT were landed on the Kroc.
So any tuna chasers out there should be ready with a 2" Kroc and a UPGRADED HOOK.
Also maybe small Mega Bait or larger Kastmaster with a upgraded hook. :Secret:
Do Not use the weak factory treble hooks. Larger single hook or quality treble upgrade will help alot.

Those 40 lb BFT will straighten those weak hooks.
I think another mistake we made that day was not trying to drop a bait down
with some lead. When they sink out and before you box the area try a 1-2 oz rubber core or torpedo weight to get a bait down.

There was only a few landed that day and the guy that was
trying different lures got 2 on the Krocadile. DR
