This is another reason why fishing's been dying at eldo lately.

Post a better pic. This looks like something anyone can find on the web. Also, as stated already it looks like a bowfin.

Doesn't even look like Eldo, at least the ponds that I have seen there. I call bull.
But not Bull that there isn't a snake head, I've seen it with my own eyes. But Bull that this picture is of the snake head at eldo. ALso, isn't it fishy that this dude has only posted about Snakeheads at Eldo?
Just my two cents

That's a snakehead. Bowfins have a ROUND tail.

Is this a lame BS spam post, or is that an actual picture of Eldo?

Moving on, whether the pic is from Eldo or not, there is one thing I want to know. Can anyone vouch for Fishy and confirm on the existence of Snakeheads at Eldo? A snakehead fishery does sound pretty neat. Plus, I believe LMBs can coexist with Snakeheads just look at the lakes in Japan Largies and Snakes get along fine.

I saw a video of a guy feeding a bass to a snakehead, actually, took a huge clean chunk out of the fish!

I happened to google "photos of caught snakehead" and found this same photo on the first page and brought me to this sight where this fish was caught in Malaysia. http://www.hooked-in.com/catches/show/9404

I've seen that vid before, but that's a Giant snakehead in that vid. Giant ones grow to 40lbs and can do some serious damage, but northern snakeheads only grow to 10lbs or so. The co-existence I was referring to was between a northern snakehead and LMBs.

Fishing has been dying this year and last because of lousy aeration. LMB are still pretty good, but a lot fewer fish are maturing, due to the huge number of turtles eating fry, and small bass. The lakes really need to be brought down and a cleaning of the huge amount of sediment on the bottom. City of LB just haven't the money or desire to do what's needed. It's a shame because the place could be a very good fishing destination with a little work. The local talent still knows where to find the big bass, I've seen 10 pound fish caught, and my personal best is 8.25 on the digital ... 4-6 pound fish are abundant if you take the time.

Soooo...the original poster used a picture of a Snakehead caught in Malaysia to imply it was caught at El Dorado for what reason?

I'm still confused about that, and the fact that their other only post also dealt with Snakeheads in El Do.

Surprised he didn't say, "PM ME FOR MORE INFO!"
