The trout are in about 40 ft. of water. My largest was over 4 lb. and 23 inches long.:Big Grin:

Now that I see the pics_I thought they might be the "Tailwalkers" they stocked months ago. Good to see the "holdovers" still "hitting "! '

Thats one nice looking trout, full tail and all, good job way to go!
I used to spend alot of time at that lake in the past, then it got a little run down, loud music loud people late at night ect, started turning into a party place more than a camping vacation place, but I've been hearing good things about it more and more, great news for great lake.

^ no doubt about the over doers who party too hard and disrupt the other campers. But I try to stay away from these groups by camping in the trailer only area nice and quiet! But once winter time comes I'll be there with my kayak!

Don't get me wrong i like fishing Cachuma ,but they still get the ( L.a crowd ) as locals like to say on weekends .Noise, partying and general rowdiness, after Sept. the place is a gem!!
