Hey guys and gals,
Got a call from Chris Marso, Southern California Sales Rep for Pure Fishing, stating he wanted to get out on the water and try some of the new gear which included the Nano Fil line from Berkley. Chris was just returning from back east to get married so I figured he needed a day on the water.
The new Nano Fil was amazing on the set up Chris let me use for the day. I got to fish with a Vertias rod paired with a Abu Garcia Revo Premiere 10 spinning reel. Stuff melted off the reel like butter on the casts and fished vey nice. This stuff is defintley the next evolution in fishing line. I was fishing with 12lb Nano fil and it felt like 1lb stuff is unreal!
What really sold me is later in the day I hooked onto a good fish on the Nano fil and a Berkley Sink Worm. And the proof is in the picture.

A 7.8 Largemouth Bass! Fish fought really good and was released after the photo. So cool to hook it on gear that is just coming out.
A little while later I got this 5.0 on the same combo.

Chris with two good Irvine Lake Largemouth. Both of his fish came on a crankbait fished on the Nano Fil. He was running a small leader of 100% Florocarboun to help with stretch.

Here are the two I got. A 7.8 and 5.0 even.
A really good night on the water. We got about 20 fish on everything from Crankbaits, worms, jigs and a couple of topwater fish throwen in.
Hope to see you guys out here soon. The bite is on fire.
