Arrived at Torrance for a short 6am. to 10am session,to a little more
than three foot waves and three foot incoming.
It was a drop shot in the Trenches attack today, due to the waves.
Water was clear, and minimal weed between Topaz and the pier.
Beans were sliding here and there, but some good size ones though.
Hit that place hard, every ten- twenty feet. One bite, one Butt . http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_confused.gif
Overcast the whole time I was there http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif If you can get there early
with clear weather, may produce better http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_idea.gif http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_question.gif
Nice clean water with some good drop offs to the trenches in some spots .
Started off with the Saltwater Powerbait thinking that might do the trick,
and went about 200 yards throwing that for nothing, then switched to a
Custom Marked Zoom Flute http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif and within ten casts with that
hooked into a short to beat the skunk !!! http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif
