Went out to Castaic on sunday with my brother to see how things were going out there,
I tell ya it was one of the most busiest day i've seen at the lake .

Got there about 6ish the weather was great with a slight breeze and no boats on the water yet LOL.

went to the spot and the bite was slow but we did manage a few at about an hour or so the lake got realy busy with all the lake lice .

we tough it out for a bit more but we just couldn't take it any longer , but i guess it is summer time and it's expected to be busy on Sundays .

Over all it was great to be out fishing for a change with great company and a bunch of laughs , took a few pix after words .

Oh by the way the fish cleaning area at the lagoon is closed for some reason.

Cut bait fresh sardines from galians .
good luck and go and get them mid week should be your best bet less boats more strikes .

thanks for the info man. were u fishin by the buoy line? i have a 2 stroke engine boat. would they let me launch it there? i really wana go catch sum stripers. ive never been to castaic

People do it all the time, but that's an instant ticket and I've heard its a $100+ fine now.
