Hello,
What a summer for the California Halibut! Between the sport boats and private boaters (weighing in at our new IGFA approved scale), the landing has seen dozens from 25-67lbs! (Stats show 361 total halibut for the landing, for the year) 4 of which broke records! There is no reason to believe that more and bigger aren't still out there and will be caught! These are being caught at the outer islands AND local waters.
