Anywho, I apologize for the late report. School, family, and waking up at 3:30 to go to KH didn't help lol. Fished the PV throughout the day with the boat sticking with the kelp line. At every stop one would be able to pull out a quelico, but if one was not able to get his lure or chovie' on the edge of the kelp then no cigar. Personally I thought I did pretty well considering how the regulars had the stern throughout most of the day, guys were flyling their Dines' over my line, and the occasion swimbait thrower would squeeze next to me. Anyways, Rockfish, Calicos, a Turd Roller here and there, and SURPRISE Jack Mackerel or Aji's were biting.

These guys went straight to the steamer on Sunday. Mmmm, Calicos with green onions, garlic, ginger, and Maggi Soy Sauce. Good stuff.

And that my fellow anglers concludes my first Tradition report.

Thanks JapanRon. You should probably go on that boat. A few guys were slaying the Calicos on plastics. You would love it.

Nice report dude, hope you didn't forget to pour some hot oil over the steamed bass. That is a no no grasshoppah!

Very nice cool report and great pics,I sure have noticed alot more treefish lately way to go!
Love those calicos,recipe sounds great too!
