Took my niece to meet up with Casting Call for a boat share and got on the water at about 6:30. Headed to the flats and soaked mack on flylines for all of one missed bite. Saw Big Daddy getting a few cats within a long cast of our boat but no love for us. =( We eventually headed over to the boat dock area and started casting close to the reeds and voila, one fat 3 lb? cat within 15 minutes. About 15 min later Casting was hit and landed a smaller cat, and about 15 min after that I was reeling a line in and thought I was snagged on weeds, turned out to be another cat! No more love after that and we held out until the last minute. Niece had a blast and we'll have a fry up tonight.
