Hi All,

We will be heading to Mammoth the first week of August. We are staying in a condo in town, but going to fish.

I have not been to the Sierras in about three years. Any tips or hot spots would be much appreciated. Feel free to send a PM if you prefer. Taking my 3 kids and want them to get hooked on fishing again!

Thanks

Pete

Google the "best places to fish near Mammoth, CA" and you will be amazed at all the information that is out there in the open. The two fishing places in town are very good sources of information and the right bait/fly for the job.
The fishing report for the eastern sierra will give you up to date info on what's going on and where. I am sure you will also get a ton of other intell from the folks here.

with out looking at the report I would suggest you rent a boat and go to McGee bay at Crowley. If I wanted to catch quality fish thats where I would go.
