Decided to head down to the jetty and fish for a few hours once locked up the bike started to work the jetty from the start of it then got on one rock and boom first hali of the start second cast boom a better size 19'' hali got him on the rocks and he snaps my $200 rod(lucky for warrenty) rode back home the my back up rod and worked it again and nothing then I got to my secret spot hit a lizard and got a close to legal hali and realsed him.Good day for 3 hours of fishing. Drop was the best today

Sucks about the rod, but at least you warned him and the rest of his buddies to not do it again. lol nice results.

Way to go on hookin up with a few Butts. Bummer about the rod, good thing you got a warranty.

Some guy at the Queen Mary public fishing area has been catching sandbass on liquor store frozen anchovies.
He fishes the bottom close to the rocks. You will lose more gear that way, but catch more fish.
Most fishermen cast out too far when fishing the rocks.

Many a gear is also lost casting back into the rocks!
