Posted a report on the other forum about my 2 day six pack charter in San Diego...

got to Kona Kai early waiting for the Josie Lynn...saw tons of fish around the marina. Tied on the trusty LC and caught an octopus. I guess on the slow retrieval I ran across his home, and it reached out for the lure. Shockingly funny, and I doubt it will never happen again, but figured it was noteworthy.

Before I head back to San Fran, I am making an effort to land a WSB from shore, the SWAT guys are inspiring.

[Which Way Out]

So how did your SD trip go? I went out to the Cortez Bank last friday evening on a 1.5 day and it was a bust except for sacks of rock fish. Lots of PBs for me....

I got the only albie, nephew lost 1 when I hooked up. He lost 2 YT though, but it was his first socal 2 day experience. I was on the Josie Lynn with Captain Mike. I think only The Dominator did well, with like 7 and 1 dodo and 1 YFT.
