Lake Isabella 7-15

Got to the Hanning Flat about 4pm and got camp set up for my son and myself then started the lines in the water. Didnt get a bite till about 1100 ended up catching 4 pan size channels. It was more fun camping with my son than the fishing... All fish were caught on shad.

BTW, the cats have been biting good on the oppisite shore

glad you and your son had a good time. I haven't fished from shore there but spent lots of time in my boat fishing the trees.
