Lots of big 10" BGs - majority of the fish were released. I kept 15 for family. We finished by 10:00 (too hot).

Interesting day - we got rudely cut off by a bass boat while trolling to the spot we have been fishing. It was 6:30 in the morning with no other boats on the lake. We were already at the buoy line! No worries - we still spanked - and when we left he was trying to catch Bluegill. We had him and a tooner doing doughnuts around us trying to figure it out LOL.

Water surface temp was mid 70s.

WTG. As for the bass boat sounds like Karmas a b**th. Great job out there. I'm going this week with kids and my nephew. Hope to put them on the fish.

Kelster - Lucky I have a partner, with the BG itch too, that fishes a different style than I do. We fish the same equipment but he is bait & wait + drift. Me – churn & burn + troll. This guy can stare at a line for 30 minutes – makes me crazy. We compare notes, and when we agree – watch out.

Extremely nice haul. Looks like a majority of LP anglers just like to hang near the buoy line for some basses and gills fun. I see less and less people heading to the eastern ends of LP.

I'm pretty much like you, that's why the tube works so good for me. I have caught BG, Crappie, Bass, and a small catfish trolling a super duper on my tube at Perris out at brush flats area, lots 11-12. Wondering if I need to go to Bernarsconi Beach this Saturday.

Hi LedHed, you got those fish again. Nich sized BG's are great deep fried. The guy in the bass boat can't catch much doing 65 miles per hour. A lot of the newer fisherman don't even know what trolling is:Rolls Eyes:. He was after those gills with 1/2 jigs:LOL:!
