Gvl 7-18

Took my dad up for our first time this year. Got to the lake around 7 and started off at the dam. Nothing for the first 2 hours so we made a move to the point. My dad hooks up first for a nice 2lb rainbow on n/c. People to our left, right and us got into a pretty good bite, not wide open but pretty good. All 10 people fishing caught limits of above average DFG stockers. My dad landed 3 Jess Ranch fish, all on n/c. One guy was doing very well on smoke trout jigs fished under a bobber. Hot bait was anything with garlic (garlic pb, worms dipped in garlic). By far the best part of the day was watching a bald eagle fly around. Here are a few pics...
