Decided to catch some bluegills and redears caught alteast 25+ Had to move around to pick at them
most being bg here are two of the nicers colored if i had a better camera besides my phone you can see the colors on these bg
redears were caught on crickets drifted on from the tube same as the gills
Was on the water by 7am water was pretty warm left around 3pm
no pics on the redears

Nice gills. Where on the lake? East side or the island? Taking three kids out this week and trying to put them on some fish.

Bernasconi Road on the east side, but only if you have a tube. Otherwise, fish the same area (east side of lake) in a boat. You can also try the launch areas on the west side. Crickets are the bait.

Nice fish. I have been tubing The NE, out of lots 11 & 12 with decent luck, trolling super dupers, but slowing down. I plan on going out again this Saturday and sounds like I will have to move over to Bernarsconi and work that east side north to Brush flats. I like my side, no boats to mess with. I f everything works out I may have a new Fishing Buddy Fish Finder on the tube so that may help me scout the new territory. I CPR so any info PM or out in the open will help. Otherwise I will figure it out, I have an old topo map of the lake but I am not sure what the water level of the lake is so I guess and look for shad and other indicators. Keep up the reports and keep letting the preggos go and the LMB.

Question if you don't mind. How do you set up you rig for the crickets ?
Carolina , drop shot . ? If drop shot , how long is your weight line? Thanks in advance

Hey it was 6 to 12 inches above the weight
