With high hopes, I took my daughter out for some bass slayin'. It didn't end up that way but we had a flurry in the last few minutes of the day and she managed to grind in 5 fat Sandies. Her comment was, "Man, those things were tuggin'!". All bass were taken on plastics. We also dumped a few others and I got a smallish Garrrr on the surface iron as well as a Chrome bass.
Excellent weather, medium load of anglers, nice people.

Five slugs for the youngster! sounds like a great trip to me, and it looks like she got the one in the pic on plastic!
